Salman Khan gots violent At Bigg Boss

Actor Salman Khan, known not only for his bad boy image but also for his golden heart, threatened a Bigg Boss contestant...

It can be remembered that Bigg Boss host Salman Khan properly showed Siddharth - a Bigg Boss inmate - his place when he behaved in a rather unruly manner with co-contestant Mahek Chahal calling her names.

This unchauvinistic behaviour miffed Salman off no extent, and the Khan is heard to have said that he would hit Siddharth if something like that re-occurred. However, that bit of impromptu rage and expression was cut out at the editing table and refrained from being aired, a unit member on the Bigg Boss team informed us.

Salman's ire seemed to be rather justified in this case. And his co-host Sanjay Dutt wasn't any less perturbed by Siddharth's behaviour on the reality show. It's a good thing that Sid has tried to change his ways, although we aren't sure that a leopard can ever change its spots.

Let's wait and watch, what unravels in this crazy house...

Salman's back after 8 years

Salman Khan was spotted at Rajpath and North Block in Delhi on Sunday, where he was shooting for Kabir Khan's " Ek Tha Tiger". The movie will be shot over three days in the capital.

A driving shot at India Gate was canned on Sunday after the marathon. In spite of having secured the permission to shoot in the morning, the crew couldn't do so because of the marathon. The shooting only started at 2pm.

The next shot at Rajpath that shows him carrying a sling bag and walking on the road involved four dress changes. Rajpath was chosen as it was the idyllic location that firmly establishes the Delhi setting for the story that has Sallu playing a RAW agent.

The crew is also scheduled to shoot at Pandara Road and there is also an indoor shoot in a house in the city, and perhaps even one at Delhi Gate, near ITO.

The last time Salman was here for a shoot was during " Tere Naam" when he shot at Old Fort for a song. He's back in the capital approximately eight years later to shoot for another movie.

Salman Khan: Whatever you do, don't call him Bhai

This is one term of endearment Salman Khan would rather do without. The brawny star, who's made a successful career out of playing the saviour, thus earning the sobriquet of Bhai, and the sisterly affections of his many female fans, does not want to be the Big Brother anymore.

The reason? He has marriage on his mind. It all started with an event in Dubai earlier this month, when someone addressed his as Bhai. The star retorted saying, he has two sisters who call him Bhai and that is more than enough for him.

According to the buzz generating from his inner circle, there is more to Salman's allergy to 'bhai' products. The prolonged illness and complicated neuro-surgery has apparently made the 46-year-old star acutely conscious of his single status. Mirror has learnt that Sallu Bhai...oops.. Sallu... confided in a trusted co-star that it gets awfully lonely at his age and he's seriously considering marriage.

The co-star and friend said, "Salman has changed. He has become progressively protective and guardian-like towards his younger heroines Kareena, Katrina and Sonakshi. But the flip side is, he now feels that if he continues to be the universal 'Bhai' no girl would ever want to marry him." And the first step towards getting hitched is getting people, especially women, to stop calling him Bhai. Suniel Shetty who has known Salman for years, and who was also stopped calling him Bhai, says, "It is true Salman doesn't like to be addressed as 'Bhai' any longer.

He is convinced it keeps the girls away." This was corroborated by another friend of the actor, who said, "Salman has told all of us guys that only Arbaaz and Sohail and his sisters will be allowed to address him as 'Bhai.' He is fed up of being the universal brother. He keeps saying he can never find a soul-mate if he continues to be 'Bhai' to everyone." To twist his certain co-star's words... Hume thappad se nahin...bhai se dar lagta hain sahab!

Films of all the four stars have crossed the record-breaking Rs. 100 crore (net collections) mark at the Indian box-office. But which of their films have broken the Rs. 100 crore barrier in the least time? Which is the fastest Bollywood grosser in recent times? We dipped into our archives to bring you the statistics and the analysis:

Films Which Have Crossed Rs. 100 Crore (Net) Mark At Indian Box-Office
Position Movie Number of days

While Salman Khan’s Bodyguard raked in Rs. 100 crore in a matter of just 8 days, Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots did the same in one day more. Shah Rukh Khan entered the race a little later with Ra.One this year by raking in the moolah in 10 days. Then we have a couple of more Salman Khan starrers on the list, Dabangg and Ready, which took 10 and 12 days respectively to cross the mark. Ghajini comes in at number six. The film made Rs. 100 crore in 16 days. Ajay Devgan’s Golmaal 3 took a tad longer with 17 days. Singham lags at the last spot, with 37 days to reach the Rs. 100 crore mark.

Star Rankings
1. Salman Khan, with the fastest grosser (Bodyguard) in his kitty, as well as two other films in the list of fastest grossers, clearly leads the pack.

2. Aamir Khan comes a close number two, with 3 Idiots (number 2) and Ghajini (number 6) on our list.

3. Ajay Devgan, with two films on the list (Golmaal 3 and Singham), is at number three, after Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

4. Shah Rukh Khan, with just Ra.One, comes in last, in spite of the fact that his dream film takes the number 3 spot on the list of fastest grossers.

What Next?
With a spate of movies lined up for release in the next few months, do you think any of them will make the mark and break records set by these films? Salman Khan gets Bodyguard director another Hindi film

Bodyguard's director Siddique has finally signed his second Hindi film for Shyam Bajaj and Narendra Bajaj on Salman Khan's behest.

One of the most successful Bollywood filmmakers of this year, Siddiqui, who directed Salman Khan's blockbuster hit Bodyguard, was flooded with Hindi film offers even before Bodyguard released. Finally Siddique has signed his first Hindi film after Bodyguard.

Siddique will direct a film for producers Shyam Bajaj and Narendra Bajaj. Apparently last year when Bodyguard was being shot, Bajaj who was looking for a good director asked Salman Khan about Siddique who was directing the actor then. Salman had all good things to say about Siddique even before the release of the film. Shyam Bajaj confirms, "Yes, I asked Salman about Siddique and since he was happy the way Bodyguard was shaping up, he told me I should work with him."

Post the huge success of Bodyguard, Siddique had offers from almost every banner possible. But since this was a commitment made even before the release of Bodyguard, he kept his word and told all the producers that he will first fulfill his prior commitment of making the film with Shyam Bajaj and then may consider other offers.

Siddique says, "It was nice of Salman to recommend me to Shyam and Narendra Bajaj. I immediately agreed. I also had to keep my word and I am happy that I will be directing a film for them. There is no doubt that it will be a commercial entertainer."
