Ek Tha Tiger will be a superhit: Aamir Khan
Actor Aamir Khan is all praise for his friend Salman Khan's upcoming film Ek Tha Tiger saying he feels the movie will be superhit.
Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan will be seen together in Ek Tha Tiger that releases on August 15.
"I have seen the promos and I really liked it a lot. I even messaged Kabir (director), Adi (Producer Aditya Chopra) and Salman that I liked the promo. I think it will be a superhit film," Aamir said.
Apparently, Pakistan has restrained its cable operators from screening promos and reviews of Ek Tha Tiger saying that the Bollywood movie is aimed at tarnishing the image of the ISI.
A letter issued by the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority, country's media regulatory watchdog, to all satellite TV channels and cable networks says Ek Tha Tiger is reportedly based on the activities of ISI and RAW.
On the ban in Pakistan, Aamir chose to play safe, saying, "I don't know why they are not showing it there."
Directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Yash Raj Films, the promos of Ek Tha Tiger show Katrina asking Salman to get married.
On Salman's marriage, Aamir said, "He didn't listen to us, may be he will listen to Katrina."

Salman Khan to replace Amitabh Bachchan in a Hollywood film?
If there is one voice in B-Town that can make even a silly dialogue sound super, then it is that of actor Amitabh Bachchan. The superstar has on more than one occasion, played the narrator or sutradhar’s role in many films. Hence when makers of Hollywood film John Carter approached Big B for the sutradhar’s role for the Hindi version, he was apparently game. But his health condition has now left him with no choice but to back out.

An industry insider says, “The makers were extremely keen to get Bachchan on board as the narrator for the Hindi version. He had accepted the offer too, but unfortunately the sudden dip in his health condition just left everyone stumped. However, BigB being a thorough professional, apparently asked the makers to not delay their work because of his ill-health. He suggested they go ahead with some one else for the narrator’s voice over, as the film releases soon.”
And if those close to the film are to be believed, then actor Salman Khan will don the hat of the sutradhar for the film. “Usually actor Shah Rukh Khan was regarded as the next best fit to Amitabh Bachchan, in terms of voiceovers. However, now Salman is being approached for the part in John Carter. The actor however isn’t been able to seal the deal as he is currently in Cuba, shooting for Ek Tha Tiger and things will be clear once he is back to the city, end of this month,” adds the source.
If industrywallahs are to be believed, then its Salman’s series of blockbusters at the box office that have made him the Messiah. “Be it an action film like Wanted or a mad comedy like Ready, Salman can make anything work with his sheer screen presence. And currently he is at the top, so if the makers are trying to rope him for doing the narrator’s voice over, it is not really a surprise. Also since Salman has good base in his voice, he will also suit the part,” say insiders.

Salman Khan changes the script of Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger
Salman Khan, who is known to do films on his own terms is now making Ek Tha Tiger director Kabir Khan to change his script to suit the style of the superstar.
The reason for the success of Salman Khan's previous films – Dabangg, Ready, Wanted and Bodyguard is said to be the creative inputs from the actor himself.

Director Kabir Khan is known to work on extremely tight script. In one of the sequence in Ek Tha Tiger, Salman Khan was supposed to chase a group of villains and beat them up. However, when Salman was narrated the scene, he reportedly told Kabir that the scene would have to change since his fans would not like to see him chasing the bad guys. Instead, Salman Khan suggested that the villains should come after him and he should then thrash them up!
If sources are to be believed, Kabir Khan was so tired of trying to explain to the actor that he finally gave up. The scene was later rewritten and the scene came out perfectly well.

Salman Khan to get new villain for 'Dabangg 2'
It is final - Sonu Sood has made it official that he won't be seen in 'Dabangg 2'. Though till a month back there were rumours making the rounds that Salman has shown keen interest in roping him back for the sequel, Sonu's final declaration has put things in black and white. However the twist in the tale here is that now Salman may have to hunt for a new villain and that when the film's shooting is just a month away.

"Sonu has categorically stated that he isn't doing 'Dabangg 2' since the character written for him wasn't as powerful as Cheddi Singh. For the last six months there have been so many speculations about him being in and out of the film. However Sonu is now sick and tired of these rumours and wishes to quash them for good. For the record, he is not doing 'Dabangg 2'. It is final and there would be absolutely no change in his stance,” informs a friend of the actor.
Though Salman is currently in Cuba shooting for 'Ek Tha Tiger', the onus is now on Arbaaz Khan to get his plan B into action.
"It's a matter of time that a new name is announced for the young villain in 'Dabangg 2',” a source adds.
“While Prakash Raj is the main villain, there is requirement for the second villain as well since the script already has place for such a character. With Sonu not doing the film, someone else has to fit in now. It is quite unlikely that this character would be done away in entirety since it is way too late in the day to make any amends to the script. After all, the film's shooting begins in March.”
Meanwhile Sonu has moved on and is busy promoting his next film Maximum where he is playing a solo lead. As for 'Dabangg 2', he maintains calm exterior and says, "No, I am not doing 'Dabangg 2'. I wanted to do the film but the script couldn't do justice to a character which was going to be a follow up to Cheddi Singh. I thought that it would work only if it is much stronger than the one in Dabangg 2. However it is a creative call that has been taken by the writer and the director."
While this means that the makers have to now rope in an actor to step into a part that is presumably 'weaker' than the one which was seen in 'Dabangg', Sonu is maintaining the stance of 'all is well'.
"My rapport with Salman and Arbaaz is as good as ever. They too realized that my take on not doing 'Dabangg 2' is right. I am sure in future we would do many good things together.”

Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan the sexiest
It’s been over a year since they broke up, but Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are still the top item on the Hindustan Times - MaRS Youth Survey 2012. Kaif, 27, and Khan, 46, have been voted the sexiest woman and man alive respectively, by thousands of young HT readers across 15 major cities in
India. While Kat swept a clean 33.6% of the votes, Sallu pocketed a handsome share of 28.1%. Incidentally, both also topped the survey last year.

The highest votes for the screen Chameli this year came from 18 to 25-year-olds in Chandigarh (73.9%), Patna (67%) and Lucknow (64.5%), while Hollywood hottie Angelina Jolie stood the second sexiest woman alive with 15.3% aggregate votes. In fact, Delhi found her sexier than Kat, with 26.6% votes from the city going to Angie over 14.4% to Katrina. The overall win is too big for Kat to bother about that, though. “I am very flattered ... I am busy shooting in Cuba (for Ekk Tha Tiger) right now, and it is nice to hear this. I will always be thankful to my fans who have been supportive and urged me to do my best. I hope to live up to their expectations year after year,” she says.
Bollywood experts are not surprised. “Salman has the looks and a great physique. Plus, he doesn’t bow to anyone and his charity work makes him popular. Katrina is definitely good looking,” says trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Industry pundit Amod Mehra says, “Today, sexiness is all about success. The kind of films Katrina and Salman do has brought them this status. They are both single, and their films are big hits.” Shah Rukh Khan emerged the top living role model, with 15.4% votes.
